The
As Chair, I have the privilege of serving with a very dedicated group of like-minded HR professionals who have a passion to elicit change in our industry. The members of the CCHRA Board of Directors bring a diversity of skills and a wealth of experience to their work on behalf of their Associations and I am grateful for their active involvement, engagement, and leadership.
CCHRA is committed to further establishing the CHRP designation. Our Board is also committed to ensuring excellence in all that we set out to do – be it governance, training programs, by-laws, orientation, or tools. These passions with which we approach our tasks strengthen our mission, our vision and our values that we set forth for the CHRP.
Our fundamental goal is to build on the foundation that Debbie Bennett, CHRP and Past Chair, created in regard to understanding and decision making. By following the strategic plan, ensuring good stewardship of funding, using evidentiary-based decision making, and by working collaboratively, we will build a better understanding of the value of the HR profession.
Our collaborative approach is very simple. The stronger our Member Associations are, the stronger the CCHRA becomes. Working collaboratively with other organizations as well, both nationally and internationally, will promote the CCHRA and the CHRP designation, along with our guiding principles: collaboration, integrity and innovation.
It is an honour to represent the Canadian Human Resources community as Chair of the CCHRA.
